Detroit in Black and White: 'White Boy Rick' Talks About His Documentary and the Cannabis Business
•
Allan Lengel / Deadline Detroit
Co-hosts Vanessa Moss, Allan Lengel, Jim Nardone and Eric Brown talk with Richard Wershe Jr., aka "White Boy Rick," about his cameo appearance in an upcoming comedy film, "Stealing Jokes," a new documentary about his life and his expanding cannabis business, "The8th by White Boy Rick."
The co-hosts also talk about the 18-month to 15-year sentence Michael Jackson-Bolanos received for lying to investigators in the Samantha Woll murder case. The judge on Friday ruled prosecutors can't retry the case, basically because of double jeopardy, saying the two deadlocked counts were factually too similar to murder counts he was acquitted of last month. He will be given credit for 243 days served.
